MR. B’s BRINGS “THE BEEFSTEAK”
TO BROOKFIELD!
“All You Can Eat, Silverware Optional”

In January, 2008 the New York Times did a feature article about a richly historic New York tradtion that started over a century ago. In the mid 1800’s, special “Beefsteak” dinners were held as political fundraisers. Primarily for men, photos survive showing the attendees dressed in their best tuxedos, complete with white aprons and chef hats. The aprons were necessary, for the meal was served without silverware. Course after course was served, and gluttony was encouraged.

Since 2001, top New York chef Waldy Malouf has revived the original tradition at his signature Manhattan restaurant, Beacon. We figured this idea would be popular in Wisconsin, so Mr. B’s Chef Brent Perszyk is proud to present his special menu, designed to be eaten by hand (and yes, we have aprons for you!). The food is all-you-can-eat, and we also include the first round of beer in a special logoed 20 oz. mug that is yours to keep as a souvenir.

Get a group together and call quickly – reservations are going fast! Who knows, this could even become a regular event. In the tradition of THE BEEFSTEAK, we challenge you to eat all you can hold.
